The half-faired Super Bol d'Or arrived in February 2005 as the touring-leaning sibling of the naked CB1300 Super Four, sold in Europe as the CB1300S. Its frame-mounted fairing deliberately recalls the 1980s endurance-racing Hondas such as the CB1100R, while the fuel-injected 1284 cc four underneath is tuned for mid-range shove rather than revs. ABS was offered as an option, and in 2006 Japan got smoked indicator lenses, red rear springs and a limited red-framed ABS Special.
